Volunteer Opportunities

We are hoping that our traditional PAC sponsored activities will be able to run in 2026-2027.

	Opportunities Include:
Board/Executive Roles	We currently have vacancies across key roles within the PAC Exec (Co-Chair, Secretary). If you are interested to know more please let us know so we can provide further details. The PAC board for the school year is elected by the parent membership each fall during the AGM.
Co-ordinator Roles	We also have a need to appoint PAC Co-ordinators who can help the PAC Board implement activity across the school during the school year.
Hot Lunch	Hot Lunch is both a PAC fundraiser (a very profitable one) and a treat for both parents and kids. The Hot Lunch team is in need of volunteers to help set up, deliver and clean up on Hot Lunch days (Tues-Fri).
Special Events	In past years we’ve held several events across the school year to further connect the QE community – e.g. Fall Dance Party, Holiday Bazaar, Lunar New Year Celebrations, Spring Book Fair and End of Year Summer Carnival. These events require volunteers to set-up, facilitate and clean up.
Class Parents	Each year the PAC recruits a parent for each Division in order to act as a communication bridge between classroom teachers and the PAC.
Coaches	Coaches of our sports teams are a mix of teachers and parent volunteers. The continued availability and success of these programs is dependent on parent volunteers to help coach.
